How do I use the Apollo wearable?


  1. Download the Apollo Neuro app for iOS or for Android. The app will lead you through a few simple steps to create a profile and connect to your Apollo device.

  2. Wear it your way. Whether that’s on your wrist, ankle, or clipped to your shirt, bra, or waistband, you may choose to wear the Apollo device in different ways as you go about your day. For best results, it’s important to place it near a bone, like your wrist, ankle, chest, spine (near the back of your neck), or hip bone. Try clipping the Apollo wearable against your collar or spine, center of chest, or hip.

  3. Select an Apollo Vibe on the app and customize your duration and intensity. Start at a low intensity, around 20-40%. It’s normal to forget you’re wearing the Apollo device.

  4. The Apollo wearable delivers gentle vibrations that signal safety to the brain, balancing your body and calming your mind.

Dr. David Rabin MD, PhD, better known as Dr. Dave, is a neuroscientist and board-certified psychiatrist who has been studying the effects of chronic stress on mental and physical health for 15+ years. In his clinical work, he noticed a common theme: all of his patients’ symptoms got worse when they were experiencing stress.Dr. Rabin began his research on what would become Apollo Neuro in 2014 at the University of Pittsburgh.
